Micro, intimate, and full-day weddings — captured in a style that's completely yours.

HOW IT ALL WORKS?

Our goal is simple: make you feel genuinely excited and cared for from the moment you inquire, all the way through your final gallery delivery. Not a formula — a real, personalized experience.

01  /  Inquire

Fill out the inquiry form and tell me a little about your day — your date, your venue if you have one, and what you're dreaming of. I'll be back in your inbox within 24–48 hours, and we'll take it from there.

02  /  Consultation Call

This is my favorite part. We hop on a phone call or video chat — whichever feels most comfortable for you — and just talk. I want to hear all of it: how you met, what your day is going to feel like, what matters most to you, and what you're hoping to walk away with. This conversation is how I understand your vision deeply enough to build coverage that's actually made for you — not just a package pulled off a shelf.

03  /  Proposal

Based on everything we talked through, I put together a custom collection tailored to your vision, your day, and your needs. No guesswork, no generic tiers — just a proposal that makes sense for you. You'll have time to review it, ask questions, and make adjustments before anything is official.

04  /  Book

Once you're ready, we make it official. Sign your contract, place your retainer, and your date is held — just for you. From this point on, I'm fully in your corner.

05  /  Planning Session

As your date gets closer, we dive into the details together. We'll map out your timeline, talk through locations and portrait priorities, go over any logistics, and make sure everything is dialed in so your wedding day flows beautifully — and nothing gets missed.

06  /  Wedding Day

This is your day — and my job is to make sure you actually get to live it. I show up with presence, intention, and a genuine love for what I do. You won't feel posed or directed — you'll just feel like yourselves, and I'll be there to capture every real, beautiful moment of it.

07  /  Post-Wedding Check-In

The wedding may be over, but we're not done yet! I'll check in with you shortly after your day to make sure you're feeling good, answer any questions, and let you know exactly where things stand with your gallery.

08  /  Sneak Peeks

Because waiting is the hardest part. Within 3–5 days of your wedding, you'll receive a curated set of preview images to hold you over — the ones that made my heart skip when I was editing. Share them, print them, stare at them. They're yours.

09  /  Full Gallery Delivery

Your complete, fully edited gallery arrives in your private online gallery within 8–10 weeks. Every image is cohesively edited — film and digital balanced beautifully — and ready to download, share, and treasure. This is the full story of your day, told in photographs.

10  /  Anniversary Check-Ins

This is the part most photographers skip — and it's one of my favorite things to do. In the lead-up to your first anniversary, I'll reach out to check in, celebrate with you, and make sure you have everything you need to mark the milestone — whether that's prints, an album, or simply a reminder of how beautiful your day was. You're not just a client. You're someone I got to witness on one of the most important days of your life, and that means something.

WHAT IS A MICRO WEDDING?

Intimate. Intentional. Completely Yours.

A micro wedding is a celebration designed for the people who matter most — up to 50 guests — where the focus is on genuine connection, meaningful moments, and a day that actually feels like you. It’s not a “small wedding” as a compromise. It’s a deliberate, curated experience that gives you more of what matters: more time with your guests, more flexibility with your venue, more of your budget directed toward things you’ll actually remember, and photographs that capture the intimacy of it all.

Why Couples Choose a Micro Wedding

  • More meaningful — You’re surrounded only by the people who truly belong there

  • More flexible — Smaller guest counts unlock venues that a full wedding can’t: private estates, botanical gardens, winery terraces, rooftops, desert landscapes, beachside cliffs, and intimate restaurants

  • More present — Less managing the crowd, more actually living the day

  • More intentional with your budget — Without the cost of feeding 200, your investment goes toward experiences and details that last

  • More photographable — Intimate settings create the kind of honest, layered moments that make for extraordinary images

What to Expect from a Micro Wedding with MCP

  • Guest count up to 50 — intimate enough for real connection, meaningful enough to celebrate with your community

  • Full-day or half-day coverage options, built around your timeline

  • Film integration woven throughout — medium format portraits and 35mm candid moments included in every collection

  • The same warm, personalized experience as any MCP wedding — because you deserve that regardless of how many guests are on the list

  • Planning support and photography timeline assistance

  • Preview gallery within 3–5 days, full edited gallery in 8–10 weeks

  • Private online gallery, heirloom print and album options available

Is a Micro Wedding Right For you?

You might be the perfect fit for a micro wedding if:

  • Your guest list is 50 or fewer

  • You want a venue with real character — not a banquet hall designed for a crowd

  • You care more about meaningful moments than a big production

  • You want to actually be in your wedding, not just the host of it

  • You’re dreaming of somewhere in Southern California — Los Angeles to Joshua Tree to Big Sur, San Diego to the Central Coast — or beyond

Not sure if a micro wedding or an elopement is the right fit? Let’s talk it through — no pressure, just a real conversation.

WHY CHOOSE MCP?

Hello, World!

Our goal is simple: make you feel genuinely excited and cared for from the moment you inquire, all the way through your final gallery delivery. Not a formula — a real, personalized experience.

Your wedding day flies by. We make sure it's captured with presence, joy, and photographs that look like you actually lived it.

Every wedding day collection is built with intention — and that includes film.

Film integration is woven into every package I offer, because I believe your wedding deserves more than digital alone. Each collection is thoughtfully crafted to give you a gallery that balances candid emotion with refined, editorial storytelling — the kind of images that feel alive and timeless all at once.

Every collection includes:

  • Film integration — Medium format film or 35mm film woven seamlessly into your coverage

  • Carefully crafted gallery — a balance of candid emotion and refined storytelling, edited cohesively across film and digital

  • Preview images within 3–5 days — because the excitement doesn't end when the day does

  • Private online gallery — beautifully presented and easy to share with the people you love

  • Heirloom options — fine art prints, albums, and keepsakes designed to be passed down for generations

Planning something a little bigger?

While my heart truly lives in intimate celebrations, I do take on a small number of larger weddings — up to 100–150 guests — each year. Just 3 to 5 spots, reserved for the couples and days that feel like the right fit.

If your guest list is bigger but your day is still rooted in meaning, connection, and moments that actually matter — I'd genuinely love to hear from you. Let's find out if we're a match.

FAQ - Micro Wedding Questions

  • Micro weddings with MCP accommodate up to 50 guests. That sweet spot keeps the day intimate and meaningful — everyone in the room truly belongs there. If you’re planning something even more private, just the two of you and a couple of witnesses, check out elopement coverage instead.

  • Great question — and one I get a lot! An elopement is typically just the two of you (and maybe a witness or two), focused entirely on your own experience in a meaningful location. A micro wedding brings in a small, curated guest list of up to 50 people, so you still get that intimate feel with the people you love most. Both are photographed with the same level of care, intention, and film-integrated coverage.

  • Micro weddings open up so many beautiful options that a full wedding simply can’t access: private estates, winery gardens, botanical gardens, desert settings, beachside cliffs, rooftop spaces, intimate restaurants, and more. Because the guest count is smaller, you have far more flexibility with venues across Southern California and beyond — from Joshua Tree and Big Sur to San Diego, the Central Coast, and destination locations across the US.

  • Yes! Film integration is woven into every MCP collection — including micro weddings. Whether that’s medium format portrait frames or 35mm candid moments captured throughout your day, your gallery will have that warm, timeless quality that digital alone can’t replicate. Film isn’t an add-on here — it’s part of the experience.

  • Most couples book 6–12 months in advance, though popular dates — especially in spring and fall — can book out faster. If you’ve got a date or a venue in mind, reach out early to check availability. I’d love to hold it for you!

  • Absolutely. Every MCP collection starts with a thoughtfully built base and can be customized from there — adding video, a second photographer, Super 8mm film, an engagement session, same-day mini Polaroids, a storybook album, and more. We’ll build what actually makes sense for your day.
